It is difficult to get feedback on published work

What makes someone good at giving feedback? Some qualities that make a person better: has spent a lot of time thinking about AI safety (or is willing to spend a lot of time to catch up), not afraid to dig into the technical details, not afraid to give critical feedback, willing to go back and forth for multiple rounds.

i think it's harder to get feedback on technical ideas, and in fields where there is no consensus about what is "good"; both of these are true in AI safety
