An empty review or fake review is a review of a card in Anki where you just press "Good" without thinking it through. This is most useful when reviewing big cards -- there, you might have just spent a lot of time making the card in the first place, so immediately doing a review is not helpful.

Empty reviews only make sense when the graduating interval is large enough.
