HCH (a recursive acronym for humans consulting HCH) is a theoretical scheme for amplification, where a human performs tasks by consulting a team of other humans, who in turn each have a team of other humans to consult, forming a tree of humans. It is closely associated with Paul Christiano's iterated amplification research agenda.
